Breakfast Recipe: Healthy Ezekiel Toast

Good morning!  I don't know about you, but I'm always on the hunt for healthy, yet satisfying breakfast options I can eat on the go.  Lately, I have really been enjoying a slice of Ezekiel bread with my morning coffee, and today I wanted to share two of my favorite ways to eat this nutritious toast. 

Firstly, I love topping a slice of toast with the classic combination of peanut butter and thinly sliced apples.  Finish with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of chia seeds - you're good to go!  Chia seeds are packed with fiber and protein, while Ezekiel bread contains many essential amino acids and no refined sugars.

I also enjoy topping my toasted Ezekiel bread with almond butter, sliced banana, a drizzle of honey and a dash of cinnamon. This is usually my go-to breakfast during the work week.  I love that it is both delicious and a healthy way to kickstart the day!  What is your favorite breakfast to eat on the go?
